The BCS/ICS series have been retired and have been replaced with other educational opportunities.

NCMA Tysons has completely revamped the entire Education and Training series being presented during the 2014-2015 Fiscal Year. The BCS/ICS series have been retired and have been replaced with the following educational opportunities:

1. Advanced Special Topic Webinar Series (ASTW) - This series includes 12 courses over the fall and spring that will provide 2 hours of web based instruction by industry experts on complex government contracting, audit and lifecycle issues and problems along with rectifying solutions.

2. System Series: This all new material will provide Instructor Led Training in a fall 6 course series on Subcontracting and a Spring 6 to 8 course series on Business Systems. Each course will be about 2.5 hours and will include breakfast networking and 2 hrs of Expert Led training.

3. Government Contract Lifecycle Workshop - This third pillar of the newly formed training program will provide full day workshops on the PreAward, Administration, Closeout/Reporting phases of the contract lifecycle and tie each lifecycle phase to the applicable FAR Part. The intent is to make resources comfortable and knowledgeable not just with the FAR, but with the contract lifecycle, issues that arise, and the applicable FAR Part within each lifecycle phase.

Currently, we are scheduling a 2 day PreAward Workshop in the fall, a 2 Day Administration Workshop in the spring, followed by a 1 day Closeout and Reporting workshop also in the spring.

Facility Sponsorship: Companies interested in volunteering training space for either the series or workshop courses receive complimentary training for their resources to fill open seats. Please contact VP Education, Chris Wade if you are interested at: cwade@CaaSus
