Event description:

 Speaker:  Ken Susskind

Ken Susskind formed GovConRx LLC, an acquisition advisory firm that promotes federal contract wellness, advances public-private partnerships, and fosters mission success by providing proactive contract performance management solutions to federal government contractors. A GovConRx specialty area is helping clients manage their Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) ratings to ensure they receive the highest accurate ratings earned and deserved. Ken brings over 35 years of experience and proven track record of successfully developing and maintaining strong contractor-government partnerships by leveraging corporate and team capabilities.

Before forming GovConRx, Ken was a partner and Senior Vice President for over ten years at Evermay Consulting Group, an elite advisory firm that provided strategic acquisition guidance to private sector clients focusing on Homeland Security and other federal agency mission areas. He successfully helped grow the company and establish its unique brand in a competitive consulting business market.

Prior to Evermay Consulting Group, Ken was Vice President of Business Development at 3H Technology, a successful small business government contractor that he helped grow and be acquired by QinetiQ North America (QNA) for over $50 million. He implemented and managed complex multi-company team prime proposal and capture efforts on large government contract bids and tasking on programs totaling over $100 million at Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Treasury/IRS and GSA.

Ken performed similar corporate growth, business development and strategic alliance functions in previous positions including Director of Business Development and Sales at Verizon Communications Network Integration Solutions Group and at Metro Technologies, a start-up network integration firm that was later acquired by Verizon/Bell Atlantic for over $70 million.

Earlier in his career, Ken founded and managed operations for Space Commerce International, a firm specializing in commercialization of space industry technology products/services. Ken was also co-founder and partner in Financial Satellite Corporation, an international satellite services firm catering to the financial sector. He began his career as an attorney at the Law Offices of Martin Rothblatt, an exclusive communications, satellite and space law firm in Washington DC.
